Introduction

Bishvil is a navigation and outdoor activity app for cycling and hiking on Israeli trails. By using Bishvil, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Use of the App

Bishvil provides maps, navigation, GPX route display, ride discovery, offline maps, and points of interest as convenience tools only. The app is not a substitute for professional navigation equipment, local knowledge, or safety planning.

Navigation and Outdoor Safety

Outdoor activity carries inherent risks. Be aware that:

• Routes, trails, roads, terrain, and access restrictions may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unavailable
• Outdoor conditions may change due to weather, terrain, closures, traffic, construction, military or security restrictions, or other hazards
• Map data and points of interest may not reflect current conditions
• Do not rely solely on Bishvil for safety-critical navigation

User Responsibility

By using Bishvil, you agree that you are responsible for your own safety and for the results of using the app. This includes:

• Navigation decisions and route choices
• Legal compliance, including trail access and local regulations
• Appropriate equipment and physical preparation
• Assessing field conditions before and during your activity

Routes, Maps, GPX Files, and Offline Maps

GPX files are user-provided or user-selected. Bishvil does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or safety. Offline maps are downloaded for use without connectivity and may not include recent changes. Always verify conditions from authoritative sources before relying on any route or map.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Ride Events and User Content

When creating or joining ride events or contributing any content to the app, you must not upload, share, or create content that is illegal, abusive, harmful, misleading, or that infringes on others' rights.

Premium Features

Some features require a premium subscription or payment. Premium and offline map features may change over time. Specific pricing and subscription terms will be provided when applicable.

Availability and Changes

Bishvil is under active development. Features, map data, availability, and these Terms may change at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Limitation of Responsibility

Bishvil is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Bishvil is not liable for losses, injuries, or damages resulting from reliance on the app, map data, routes, or navigation guidance. You use the app at your own risk.

Your use of Bishvil is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
